So if you don't already know, the new video for "Maiden, Mother, & Crone" will appear on Headbanger's Ball this weekend. I know it sucks that The Sword is on MTV, but it's their duty to shine through the meaningless math-screamo crap they show on there and show people what real rock is. And J.D. thinks he's the shit now because he grew a beard, but he basically is so we can't pick on him.

I just wanted to let you know that I dig the blog. You've introduced me to some good metal I didn't know existed. Keep it up and keep on a rockin!!!
Great blog. I'm a fan of most of these bands, and thanks to you I've found some more. Also are you familiar with Rose Hill Drive? I know they're not exactly metal, but they're another example of a great band with an old school sound. Rolling Stone described them as Cream + Deep Purple, all of whose members look like the last know picture of Dwayne Allman. Check them out.
